Challenge

Rebuild the visual identity without smoothing out the community's edge, and ensure the system could adapt to new collaborations and formats.

Approach

We defined a black and white core wrapped around modular, grid-based layouts. The system balanced minimal typography with experimental compositions for hero visuals. Templates were provided for event posters, decks and digital announcements.

Result

The refreshed brand made SHIFT easier to recognise while keeping space for experimentation. Their communication became more readable, and partners could plug into the visual system without heavy guidelines.
